American Waters
Artist's Note: American Waters is my tribute to the myriad of rivers and lakes throughout America, as well as the oceans, whose shores provide countless hours of fishing pleasure. This exciting melamine collection was designed with the dedicated angler in mind to bring along on outdoor excursions. Little did I know how much the non-fisherman would love this design. When I began working on this collection I spoke to an avid fisherman to learn more about the sport and the fish. Featured are four different trout — Brook, Cutthroat, Brown and Rainbow — and the challenging Sea Bass. I would like to go on record and say that every trout I have caught went back into the water! -Lynn Chase
